, I have a tablet pen! So now I can dust off my lonely tablet and draw again. Prepare for artwork!

)I need some advice regarding programs...I'm getting tired of MS Paint and I'd like to try a new program. Any recommendations? I want my art to be more smooth and less pixelated, but Photoshop seems so complex compared to Paint. If anyone could throw some tips or tutorials my way as well, that'd be much appreciated.
I can't believe my last journal was in March! I need to update more often. I'm *finally* out of high school and off to college! I'm going to Michigan State University to get a degree in Media Arts and Technologies, which means I'll be a video game designer. I can't wait! I couldn't be happier. x3
On a more personal note, I feel like I haven't been a good friend to all my friends on DA. You all mean so much to me, assuring me I have talent and pushing me to keep drawing and submitting. Recently, I haven't been returning the favor. I haven't been commenting on your journals or your artwork, and that fact is now very clear to me. I promise to be better, to comment more and give more constructive feedback. >-<
How's everyone's summer been? What are you all up to? My days essentially consist of going on my new laptop
, playing video games (Tales of the Abyss, Kingdom Hearts Series, Sims 3), and eating/sleeping/getting together with people to play video games. ...I love summer. xD
Has anyone played any good games lately? I'm looking for some good PS2 recommendations as well.
